My Newfoundland driver's license is no more.

My ridiculously young and shiny photo has been traded in for a much more up-to-date one, albeit one in which the glint in my eye suggests I'm moments from snapping and killing someone.

Incidentally, October 9, 2009 (the new expiration date) seems so far away. It's kind of frightening to think of how impossibly far away October 9, 2004 seemed when I first got the old one.

This entry is long overdue, and I'm sure that by now no one left who cares or has not already been informed. Be that as it may, I still feel the need to put it in blog. : )

To refresh everyone's memory:

So here's the thing. I don't own that shirt, and that's not me in the picture.

That being said, only two people to see it even questioned it before being told. Kudos to you guys. : D

I must say, though, the resemblance is freaky. I did a double take myself when I first saw it. And really, what are the odds my doppelganger wears geek shirts too?

Note: I was originally going to pose for a similar picture to post for this entry. But I'm lazy and short of time these days, so it hasn't happened yet. Maybe eventually. If I ever get around to it, I'll post it. : )
