things to do

I have just received an email informing me that I'm supposed to do some reading for Systems Analysis and Design tomorrow. This is unfortunate, as I still have much laundry left to fold. On top of that, laundry related progress has been pretty slow, because I'm finding it difficult to tear myself away from the Margwood. I suppose I'll get it all done. The night is young, and it's too early in the semester to break my getting-things-done streak. : )

In other news, I saw Big Fish last night, and it was very good, and that made me happy. There was a snippet of it that reminded me a little of Life of Pi, although not in a similar storyline kind of way. Also: Tim Burton, so it was very pretty. It's so nice to go see a movie you've heard is good, and not be disappointed at all.

Hmmm, lots of links today.

books

I went into the secondhand bookstore today looking for Stephen King, and came out with Margaret Atwood. Explain that.

chirp

The sharp-eyed amongst you might have noticed the new link in my side bar. This is assuming, of course, that anyone still checks this with any regularity. At any rate, there is now at least one thing on my site that will update frequently... without even requiring effort on my behalf. Hurray for that!

On the topic of effort: I'm still working on straightening out the style sheet here. Things are probably going to continue to look kind of crappy for a while. I know they already have been for a while, but the truth is... It's been looking fine the whole time in Opera, so I don't really care that much. : ) But any css related suggestions are still welcome.

At any rate, CUTC is coming up next week. Hopefully it will provide some interesting blog fodder, thus preventing my site from blanking out again any time soon. We'll see. ; )
